Born 1992 in Houston, Texas.

At the heart of my work is an evolving curiosity about the intersections of the different facets of the human condition and my creative process is heavily influenced by a playful exploration of materials and a love of living systems. I work intuitively with various materials such as roots, paint, biofilms, and plastic packaging, which are often pushed to their physical limits or past their breaking point. These breaches are a part of the process so spontaneity and experimentation are vital tools, which I find to mirror both the fragility and resilience found in nature and in human endeavors. The focus of my work is primarily on sculptures and installations that invite viewers into imaged biological systems where dark theories and lively structures are in dialogue.
